Welcome to Neighbor Helping Neighbor Food Bank Inc., where we are dedicated to supporting the food insecure individuals and families of Perry County with dignity and respect. As a non-profit organization and 501c3, our mission is clear: to provide supplemental food that sustains our community members throughout the month.
Our team comprises five dedicated employees, supplemented by a network of passionate volunteers who generously contribute their time and energy to our cause. Together, we strive to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those facing food insecurity in our area.
Since our inception, we’ve been committed to sourcing food and funds through various channels. Generous donations from local grocery stores, businesses, farmers, individuals, churches and organizations form the backbone of our operations. Additionally, we are grateful for the support of grants from organizations such as TEFAP, HSDF, SFPP, The Foundation for Enhancing Communities and United Way, which enable us to further our mission and reach more members of our community in need.
While our journey began with a humble vision, our commitment to our mission has remained steadfast. We invite you to explore our extended history to learn more about our roots and the evolution of our organization. At Neighbor Helping Neighbor Food Bank Inc., we believe that together, as neighbors helping neighbors, we can make a significant difference in the fight against food insecurity. Thank you for joining us in this important mission.
